The YouthWorks Office has a New Home!

After many years of searching and praying for a new office location we have one! We said farewell to 3530 and moved a bit further west in the Twin Cities metro area.

 

We are still in the process of moving in and getting settled, but we wanted to give you a snapshot of our new digs. The building is shared with a wide variety of businesses that include a carpet cleaning company and a seafood seller.

 

The common spaces continue to be a work in process as we wait for all of our furniture to arrive, but they are already proving to be great spaces for gathering and getting work accomplished.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After coming from an office building where we were all very separated, we’re loving life in closer proximity to one another. Being so close makes it easier to collaborate across departments and ministries as we share space with our umbrella company Real Resources and our sister ministry Youth Specialties.

 

 

 

    

 

 

 

In addition to regular office space, we needed substantial warehouse space to store all the supplies required to run mission trips, conventions and conferences. It wasn’t easy to find a space that included both office and warehouse components, but in the end we found something that works great!

 

 

We’re enjoying the new space and are looking forward to seeing how it evolves as we continue to live into it.

Starting in 2001, Kari has worked in a variety of roles throughout her years with YouthWorks; she has been everything from a Work Projects Coordinator to an Area Director to a Training and Programming Associate. She now splits her time between working in the YouthWorks Marketing Department and working at the creative agency she helped to start. In her spare time you can find her hanging out with high school kids at her youth group, indulging in some sort of creative endeavor, or out in the woods camping and hiking.
