Adult Leader Moments from Summer 2016

At YouthWorks, we’re so grateful for all the incredible moments that composed Summer 2016. The service and learning and growth that God brought about in communities across the continent is truly something to give thanks for. Below are just a few of our favorite Summer 2016 moments from adult leaders. One of the most amazing experiences we had yesterday was touring Kelly Ingram Park with our tour guide Andrew. He’s a homeless man with an eighth grade education, but he knows his history and really made a connection with our kids… And our leaders! He lets us pray with him and pay him for the tour… But we received far more from the experience than he did. #boldyouth_pumy #yw2016

This is Adult Leader Steve. Say Hi Steve!! We have an overwhelming amount of incredible Adult leaders that pass through our sites every summer. But Steve exemplifies what it means too be a loving Adult leader. As a YouthWorks staffer, we could not do our job if it was not for flexible, driven, superhero like people that love the students that come to each of our sites. My team is especially grateful for Adults like Steve who continue to love their students when it is difficult, when circumstances get dicey, and in the middle of the night when nose bleeds are going strong. Thank you Adult Leaders for loving us and your kids but thank you mostly for loving Jesus. We Love you Steve and all you Steve look alikes. #yw2016 #heavensburgs2016 #adultleadersarethebest
