Did you know YouthWorks is a part of a family of ministries? We love being able to work alongside some great ministries. Here is a glimpse into the Real Resources family.

Real Resources is a Christ-centered, multi-denominational 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Founded upon the belief that teens are a vital part of the Church today, and God has uniquely equipped them to live out His love in the world, Real Resources operates three ministries – YouthWorks, Youth Specialties, and BigStuf Ministries – that draw teens, their families, and church leaders into deeper encounters with God and each other through community service, leadership development, play, and worship.

Here is the timeline of how Real Resources came to be.

Youth Specialties

Youth Specialties is a ministry that equips youth workers and youth with relevant tools and training so today’s teens can follow Jesus. Youth Specialties’ events, services, and resources provide opportunities for youth workers and youth to learn and connect with God and one another. Youth Specialties is headquartered in Minneapolis, and has over 40 years of experience in youth ministry. Each year, Youth Specialties serves tens of thousands of youth workers in North America.

BigStuf

BigStuf Ministries’ summer camps and conferences invite students to deeply experience God’s transformative love through music, speakers, and devotions on the beach. BigStuf’s events create biblically sound, worshipful environments that open up students to a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. BigStuf Ministries is headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia and organizes summer youth camps in Daytona Beach and Panama City Beach, Florida.

Especialdades Juveniles

Especialdades Juveniles is the Spanish-speaking ministry of Youth Specialties. Through an incredible array of events, conferences, courses, radio programming, and online and print publications, Especialdades Juveniles provides relevant tools and training so today’s Spanish-speaking youth in the Americas and Spain can follow Jesus. Headquartered in Orlando, Especialidades Juveniles has offices located in eleven other countries throughout Central and South America, and Spain, serving over 100,000 youth workers each year.
