How to Fundraise on Facebook

Facebook and Fundraising?! It’s true. We’ve created an opportunity for you to pay for your 2015 mission trip simply by spreading the word about YouthWorks with your Facebook friends. Plus, you could win a free 2016 mission trip for your whole youth group!

Here’s how it works:

• Fill out the form below, and a person from YouthWorks will contact you with details.
• YouthWorks will help you create the event, so all you need to do is invite your friends.
• Host a YouthWorks party on Facebook during the week of February 16–20 or February 23–27.
• During the party a person from YouthWorks will help facilitate. You simply need to share your YouthWorks experience and interact with posts.
• The goal is to share about your own experience with YouthWorks and help others get interested in taking a youth, church or family trip with YouthWorks.
• It’s that easy!

What the party will look like:

• With YouthWorks’ help, you will set up an event with a start and end date. The  party will take place completely on Facebook.
• You get to choose who you want to invite to the party. Remember, the purpose is to share your story and get others interested in taking a youth, church or family trip with YouthWorks, so think about who the best people to invite would be.
• If you are unfamiliar with how Facebook event’s work, a YouthWorks staff member can walk you through the process of how to set up an event.
• This is a quick glimpse of what a set up party could look like:

What you get for hosting: 

• For any person from your Facebook party who books a 2015 YouthWorks trip, you will earn a space for you 2015 mission trip.
  • 1 new 2015 registration = 1 earned space (value $250)
  • 2 new 2015 registrations = 2 earned spaces (value $500)
  • We will give you a specific promo code for your party so it’s easy to keep track.
• Everyone who hosts a YouthWorks party on Facebook will be entered for a drawing to win a FREE 2016 YouthWorks trip for their youth group.*
