Cece Preps for Summer

We are currently gearing up for summer here at YouthWorks. Cece, one of our summer staff , is preparing for being a Kids Club Coordinator for the upcoming summer. Here is what Cece had to say about how she is currently prepping for the summer.

What are you doing to prepare for the summer?

​To prepare for this summer I’ve been focusing on making sure that I am taking time out of my schedule to spend with God, whether that be doing devotions or other kinds of self care.

What has been helpful as you prepare?

Reading the Summer Theme Pilot is a great place to start to prepare for the summer. Already having processed and prayed about the topics the youth will be asked to reflect on makes me feel confident that I can be a role model in their faith journey this summer. 

What moment are you looking forward to this summer?

Building relationships with not only the Kids Club kids but also their families was one of the most rewarding aspects of my summer last year. I am so excited to get to my site and start to build relationships with the community members that my team and I will be serving alongside of this summer.
