Your group will have the opportunity to partner with a variety of social service organizations meeting on-going issues such as poverty and food insecurity. These include partners who come alongside education initiatives through youth programming, those serving the homeless, and agenices who focus on fighting food sustainability in the city of Waco. Groups will have the chance to hear from a community speaker who will share about the strengths and struggles of this Central Texas community. During the evenings, you’ll get to explore downtown Waco, attend a local Hispanic church service, visit the famous Magnolia Market and celebrate the week with new friends. YouthWorks has partnered with this community starting in 2020.
