Overview

In Detroit, your students’ service will support local ministries in need of volunteers. Your group could meet needs through service projects — serve with shelters, help local kids ministries and contribute to a variety of beautification projects, such as urban gardening and working to remove blight. The story of Detroit will come alive if you visit the Motown Museum, Belle Isle Park and the Detroit Historical Museum. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2016.
