Overview

Your group will support existing organizations that are rising to meet challenges the City of Denver and its residents are facing. You’ll have the opportunity to see how community members are rising to meet challenges the city of Denver is facing. Serve with local organizations caring for their neighbors in meaningful ways through home projects, food distribution, thrift stores and city beautification. Through spending time exploring the beautiful mountains in Colorado and the urban life in the city of Denver, your group will learn more about the uniqueness of this community. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 1998.

Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community by serving at a food pantry, clothing distribution center, meal center or local youth program.

Serve Denver's housing renewal initiative through painting, cleaning, helping with yard work or doing other simple work projects.

Due to high traffic congestion in the city of Denver & Lakewood, your group can expect to experience longer drive time to some service and evening activities.

Groups should plan for additional $10-$20 per vehicle to cover the cost of parking for some Evening Activities.
