Overview
In Birmingham, your group will learn about and experience the city’s history and culture while serving alongside local organizations. Service opportunities may include painting and other hands-on projects, addressing food insecurity through meal service or food distribution, and relational ministry with elderly individuals and those experiencing homelessness. During free time your group can spend time exploring Vulcan Park, visiting other local landmarks, and touring the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute.
