For more than 20 years, YouthWorks has connected teenagers to meaningful mission trips. We’ve seen short-term trips lead to long-term impact for both teenagers and communities. And for us, both are mission-critical.

The power of a YouthWorks trip is that both happen.
Not one or the other, but one plus the other.

When you go on a YouthWorks trip, you’re part of a much larger story. Each summer, nearly 30,000 teenagers from 1,500 churches partner with 75 communities nationwide. Individually, each of us can only do so much. Collectively, we can catalyze lasting impact for teens, for families, and for communities across the continent.

 

+ It’s bigger than one week. A trip can be a powerful catalyst to grow in relationship with Jesus for a lifetime—and teenagers return home with eyes to see how they can love others right where they live.

 

+ It’s bigger than one individual. Our trips intentionally connect teenagers to leaders, staff, other churches, and families—because we know that’s the best way to make faith “stick” as a lifelong experience.

 

+ It’s bigger than one project. You want your students to serve in meaningful, lasting ways on a trip. No YouthWorks project exists in isolation, but is an integral part of a long-term relationship with a community.

 

+ It’s bigger than one summer. We hear nearly every day from attendees and former staff who say a YouthWorks trip was a defining moment in their lives and their faith. We hear the same thing from communities we partner with, as the storyline of transformation keeps unfolding.
