About Savannah

Your group will have the opportunity to do hands-on work projects, partner with local ministries and non profit organizations that serve seniors, children and those experiencing homelessness. In the evenings, you’ll get to have dinner and swim at Tybee Island, learn about historic injustices by touring a church involved with the underground railroad, take a stroll through the Riverwalk and other tourist destinations in Savannah, and end the week with a community cookout celebration. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2000.

We teenagers + We communities

Teenagers need to encounter Jesus outside their normal context to deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. Plus, communities need to be valued—not as mere recipients but as partners who have stories worth sharing in.

When we bring the two together, incredible things happen.
