Rutland/Green Mountains, VT
- Custom Trips: Middle School and Up
Experience the natural beauty of Rutland while serving alongside local partners working to address food insecurity, supporting community beautification efforts, and walking closely with elderly neighbors facing isolation.
Overview
Much of the service in Rutland takes place outdoors, inviting groups to work with their hands while experiencing the natural beauty of the Green Mountain State. Opportunities may include maintaining trails at Pine Hills Park, serving with the Parks and Recreation Department, caring for farms and gardens, or spending time with elderly residents. During free time groups can enjoy activities such as indoor rock climbing, hiking, and swimming. YouthWorks has been honored to partner with this community since 2007.
