Philadelphia, PA

  • Custom Trips: All Ages

Overview

Your group will partner with several social service organizations and urban gardens that are helping to combat food insecurity, as well as assisting with local youth programming and serving the homeless population. Whether you are planting and weeding at an urban garden, packing boxes at a food distribution center or helping load and unload food deliveries to food pantries, your group will assist partners in helping meet the ongoing needs within the community. In the evenings, explore Old Historic City and the Liberty Bell, stroll along the shore of the Delaware River and run up the “Rocky Balboa Steps” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. YouthWorks has been serving in this community since 2004.
