Learn about urban renewal through neighborhood rehabilitation, partner with social service organizations, and spend time helping with kids programming.

About Niagara Falls

Your group will have an opportunity to experience the two sides of life in Niagara Falls- both the beauty and the brokenness. YouthWorks partners with a wide variety of service organizations in this city. You’ll serve through helping with park and home beautification projects, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior centers and volunteer with children’s programming. In the evenings your group will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty and rich history of the area by visiting the Falls and the Underground Railroad Museum. End the week with local residents, enjoying fellowship through a community meal. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2003.

Serving in Niagara Falls

  • Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
  • Serve through painting, cleaning, helping with yard work or doing other simple work projects.
  • During the week, students may serve at one or more of the service options.
  • Note that Youth Programming does not start until the last week of June, so service before that point will primarily focus on work projects and partnering with other local service organizations.
  • Groups will need to plan for an additional $10-$15 per vehicle to park at Niagara Falls.

We teenagers + We communities

Teenagers need to encounter Jesus outside their normal context to deepen their faith and broaden their perspectives. Plus, communities need to be valued—not as mere recipients but as partners who have stories worth sharing in.

When we bring the two together, incredible things happen.
