Overview

In Louisville, your group will have the opportunity to serve alongside local organizations through a variety of experiences, including working with children, participating in hands-on projects, and supporting those experiencing homelessness. Throughout the trip, your group will have the opportunity to build relationships with community members and explore sites like Waterfront Park or Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2008.

Partner with local organizations to help facilitate youth programming.

Participants may serve at a food pantry or meal center, or assist with simple home repair or community beautification projects.

Groups may serve at one or more service sites throughout their trip.

Groups will need to plan for an additional $10-$15 per vehicle to cover the cost of parking at Community Activities.

There is an additional entry fee per person for the Kentucky Derby Museum.
