Overview

In Louisville, your group is likely to have a variety of service opportunities working with local organizations. This could look like serving children in the community, spending time with the elderly, doing hands-on projects, or serving those experiencing homelessness. In the evenings, enjoy spending time with new community friends and/or visit Waterfront Park or the home of the Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2008.

Partner with local organizations to help facilitate youth programming.

Students may serve at a food pantry, clothing distribution center, soup kitchen, or by assisting with simple home repair projects.

Groups may serve at one or more of the service options by switching mid-week between service partnerships & minor repair projects.

Groups will need to plan for an additional $10-$15 per vehicle to cover the cost of parking at Evening Activities.

$10 per person entry fee for the Kentucky Derby Museum.
