About Lake Traverse Reservation

While spending time in the Lake Traverse Reservation, your group will have the opportunity to learn the rich history and unique challenges of the community. Service opportunities include children’s programming, working at local organizations, and painting, beautification and minor repair projects to support local homeowners and tribal partners. You’ll learn about Dakota culture from a community friend and explore a state park that is significant to the local tribe. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2005.

Please note: All information regarding service and community engagement activities are subject to change. We are actively working to identify community engagement and service opportunities in consideration of COVID.
