Overview
In Indianapolis, YouthWorks partners with organizations working to alleviate the immediate impacts of poverty. Your group will primarily work in homeless shelters, food banks and community centers. Much of your work will focus on issues of hunger and homelessness as you support those who work on the front lines of these service organizations. In the evenings, your group will have the opportunity to explore the Indianapolis community. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2013.

Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
Students may serve all or part of the week at a food shelf, clothing distribution center, meal center, children’s program or homeless shelter.
Groups should plan for additional parking costs of $10-$15 per vehicle for Evening Activities and a downtown shower location.
