Overview

Your group will support existing organizations that are rising to help meet challenges the City of Denver and its residents are facing. You’ll have the opportunity to see firsthand how community members are responding to these needs. Serve with local organizations caring for their neighbors in meaningful ways through home projects, food distribution, thrift stores and city beautification. By spending time exploring urban life in the city of Denver and its beautiful Rocky Mountains, your group will learn more about the uniqueness of this community. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 1998.

Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community by serving at food pantries, clothing distribution centers, meal distribution centers, or local youth engagement programs.

Support Denver's housing renewal initiative through painting, cleaning, yard work, or other simple work projects.

Due to high traffic congestion in the cities of Denver and Lakewood, your group can expect to experience longer drive time to some service and Community Activities.

Groups should plan for additional $10-$20 per vehicle to cover the cost of parking for some Community Activities.

This location requires that participants be 14 years or older.
