Overview

During a week in Charleston, your group will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the people, history and culture of the capitol city of West Virginia. You will serve and build relationships with a variety of people in Charleston through the Boys & Girls Club, Union Mission and organizations serving those in recovery and/or experiencing homelessness as well as partner with a local church and preschool through supporting children’s programming. During the evenings, worship with a local congregation, explore historic downtown, and connect with the community. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2001.
