As part of your paperwork process you’ll sign an Adult Leader Covenant. Think of this as your jobn description. You have it here too, for your reference.
Students also sign a Youth Covenant. Check it out to learn what expectations you will help students meet during the trip.
Read through the Basic Meal Plan & Allergy Info to learn what meals could look like during your trip. Menus may vary slightly from community to community.

Adult Leader FAQs
Use the resources and information provided to you during the trip to lead students through each service experience.
Connect with Service Partners when applicable during the service day when you have any questions, to learn more about their organization or ministry, and to get directions on the day’s tasks.
Connect with on-site YouthWorks Community Hosts during the service day whenever your crew needs any supplies or has completed all assigned tasks.

You will not know specifically where you will be serving until the day you arrive at your site. We strive to give every participant an opportunity to serve with at least two different local partners, although some local partners request to have the same volunteers all week long to allow participants to build relationships at the organization/ministry.
Please be prepared to serve respectfully and enthusiastically even if the service you’re assigned to is different than what you expected to do.
All the participants on site will be divided into crews to serve with each day. If your group is larger than seven people, you will most likely be split into different crews for the week. Each crew is made up of 10 or so people (students and adults) from ideally 2 different church groups, depending on the needs of the Service Partners, the size of the group on site, and the vehicles available.
