About the Twin Cities

In the Twin Cities, your group will have the opportunity to work alongside a variety of organizations that are actively seeking to care for and support Twin Cities’ residents. You may spend time serving at senior citizens centers, food banks, meal centers and so much more while making a positive impact in the community. During the evenings your group will have the chance to explore Minneapolis and St. Paul, visit Minnehaha Falls and check out the famous Mall of America. YouthWorks has partnered with Minneapolis since 1996 and with St. Paul since 2009.

Serving in the Twin Cities

  • Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
  • Serve the elderly community and elderly care facilities through beautification projects, weeding, gardening, cleaning, yard work or doing other minor work projects.
  • During the week, students may serve all or part of the week at a food shelf, clothing distribution center, meal center, local garden or elderly care facilities.
