ABOUT MARIO WORLD

A rising star, Mario World has many sunny areas with beautiful green rolling plains and blue skies. Gold coins are often left laying around or easily accessed in blocks. Despite their gorgeous vistas and rich economy, though, the World is plagued by an infestation of dangerous plants, turtles, ghosts and goombas, which are threatening the natural habitat of the Mushroom Kingdom. Gaping holes swallow up unsuspecting hikers and brick block vandalism is at an all-time high. Additionally, the Koopa Regime is terrorizing the population and consistently kidnapping its residents.

COMMUNITY EXPERIENCE

Your group will get to partner with the Find the Princess Project, participate in brick block demolition, and assist with lowering the flag each evening before time runs out. On Tuesday morning, some students will also participate in a prayer walk around the Haunted Mansion while others help grow flowers and natural-growing fungi in a community garden. In the evenings you’ll tour Bowser’s Castle, participate in sewer exploration, visit Yoshi Island and take a driving tour of Toad’s Turnpike.

YOUTHWORKS RELATIONSHIP

YouthWorks has been excited to partner with Mario World for the past 67 hours straight (except for three bathroom breaks and one quick run to the kitchen to make pizza rolls in the microwave). As usual, we will be housing at Kong Kollege.
