About Lake Traverse Reservation

While spending time in the Lake Traverse Reservation, your group will have the opportunity to learn the rich history and unique challenges of the community. Service opportunities include working at local organizations, serving at local nursing homes, painting, and beautification and minor repair projects to support local homeowners and tribal partners. You’ll learn about Dakota culture from a community friend and explore a state park that is significant to the local tribe. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2005.
