About Harrisburg

Your group will be involved in community development efforts to improve the life of Harrisburg’s residents. You will have the opportunity to serve with a local children’s program, community gardens and food banks, and assist neighborhood associations with small home repair, community beautification and cleanup projects. In the evenings, you’ll visit Hershey’s Chocolate World for a chocolate tour and enjoy the beauty of Harrisburg alongside friends you make during the week. YouthWorks has partnered with this community since 2010.

Please note: All information regarding service and community engagement activities are subject to change.
